Maybe because something went wrong in the bedroom during your stay! You have to call them first of all to ask them why. I've been in this hotel about 3 weeks ago and the 250$ have been refunded in my credit card. You could check too with your bank!

There's an underground parking garage just down the street. Not far. Check the rates though, they're a little tricky.

The 504 king street street car is right outside the hotel takes you right to the theatre district

Yes room 1500 (+ a few others I think) has a beautiful balcony. I guess some of these people have not been, but it is breathtaking :)
